After his bewitching School's Out, Sébastien Marnier assumes his taste for anomaly invading everyday life until it breaks down. Opposed to a heroine thrust into the unknown like a frightened animal, the bizarre is here embodied by an eccentric and disturbing bourgeois family. Duplicity, make believe and imposture are at the center of a cruel and elegant direction, and of a story tinted with shades of Patricia Highsmith and Daphné Du Maurier. At the summit of an exceptionally well directed group of actors, Laure Calamy reigns... until the last mindblowing shot.
