In the family of unrecommendable hitch-hikers, Rutger Hauer in Hitcher was at the top of the game. We now have to count with Nicolas Cage, the fabulous Dutchman’s verbal economy giving way to a just as nerve wracking art of the logorrhea. He’s quite a scary dude! In this tense journey where reality turns into the fires of hell, Joel Kinneman’s (The Suicide Squad) sobriety contrasts with the monster’s exuberancy. Cage had promised it: as soon as debts were paid, no more bad movies. Here the immense actor really lets loose, once again exploring every facet of his talent. Fire walk with him !
