Despite a more restrained 80s aesthetic than in his early days, less trashy than Takashi Miike, Sogo Ishii still remains a punk as he organizes this devastating carnage, this antimaterialist anarchist firebrand that tramples all the stereotypes of the respectable Japanese family, transformed into a battlefield.
