An authorized portrait of the founder of COUM Transmissions, Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV, a radical artist whose ultimate project "Pandrogyny" tore apart social and sexual norms when she and her partner Lady Jaye, underwent the same plastic surgeries to be reborn as “a single pandrogynous being”.
After Gay Chorus Deep South, David Charles Rodrigues portrays Genesis P-Orridge from her childhood to her death, using video archives, photos and conversations with those who knew her. He captured the last interviews of P. Orridge a few weeks before her death, with an impression of urgency where the artist reveals herself for the very last time. The filmmaker questions the legacy of a revolutionary artist, reminding the beauty of her destiny, of her sacrificial enfranchisement from all rules, blending her life and her art, in an ultimate act of love, an ultimate masterpiece.
