Alien Nation, was an emergent artistic movement of the end of the 90s and early 2000s, creator of wild parties filled with ultra-stylized individuals, thirsty for a counter-culture blending gothic, BDSM, fetish, techno, hardcore, and tribal influences. Extravagance, highly eroticized frenzy, and disturbing artistic performances—these are the ingredients of their unique underground Parisian parties of that era. Here transgressive art, fetishized and staged bodies are celebrated with only one credo: freedom.
This documentary, alternating archive footage and interviews of the protagonists made in 2024, is a unique testimony and covers themes that are still valid today: eroticism, self-expression, transgression, to deliver a message of tolerance.
