A nefarious deviant doctor, the descendant of Caligari has invented a revolutionary treatment allowing her to transfer cerebral hormones from one patient to another. Thus will she undertake these inversions on a cannibal psychopath and a nymphomaniac housewife.
When Stephen Sayadian steps away from porn, to maliciously pretend filming a sequel to Robert Wiene’s masterpiece (in three weeks in a California warehouse), it’s still to talk about sex. He doesn't forsake his world of fantasies and psychedelic hallucinations. The result is a subtly political camp adventure (the lab is called C.I.A), that in its own manner experiments with expressionism and its geometries by mutating the genes of Ken Russell and Devo music videos. Psychotropic!
