Continuing her wandering life, Oryū meets the inhabitants of a village where crops are impacted by pollution from a local factory. Confronted with the factory’s greed and the local politicians’ corruption, she’ll be forced to intervene.
Even more contemporary, the franchise hardly conceals its anger when evoking the ill effects of military expansion on the population, and the risks of environmental disasters. Godzilla isn’t far. You are Dead is one of the saga’s darker chapters, in which entertainment doesn't mask bitterness. And the vengeful and now pitiless Red Peony, seems to announce Lady Snowblood.
