Having just moved into a small suburban house, a young couple accepts an invitation to the neighborhood block party. But they soon understand that it isn’t about getting to know each other while nibbling on crisps, but about fighting a battle: neighbours against the forces of evil!
The time machine has dropped you off in the 90s in the middle of a goofy gory B-movie, homemade by friends, pretending to rhyme The ‘Burbs with Midsommar to better drag you into a siege movie, all in splurts and fun, that delivers a Monster Squad inventory of monsters. Witches, werewolves and zombies invited, bring your beers, your jokes and your chainsaw: "Welcome to the equinox, please don’t die !"
