After honing his skills in the western genre with his first film The Outlaws, young Finnish director Joey Palmroos borrows the premise of Spielberg’s movie Duel and transposes it to a snowy night setting. The result is a rejoicing survival movie where an unfortunate hero, worthy of the one in Scorsese’s After Hours, must call upon feats of imagination to escape his pursuer.
