Charley James and Christophe Siébert offer a shaky saturated performance mixing music, readings, and video projections, all inspired by the novel Une Vie de Saint.(A Saint’s life). Together they explore the wanderings of a mystical outcast figure through the slums of Mertvecgorod, an imaginary world-city in decay, marked by violence and mysticism. The text and voice by Christophe Siébert, supported by Charley James’s industrial and organic sound design, give form to this sensory plunge into a raw and poetic world, a putrid alloy made of shock literature and experimental music.
