Mat and her friends organize an auto-gynecology workshop. This sorority film captures the marvel of women facing their own cervixes, and shows everything vaginal exploration can bring towards emancipation, but also self-esteem.
A porn documentary on Les Nichols, Annie Sprinkle’s girlfriend become boyfriend. After his phalloplasty, Les is a new virgin of sorts: Annie and him are about to try out his new penis. For Annie, the love they made on that day was transcendental.
Linda/Les & Annie was made in 1989 [when the language and cultural understanding about trans folk that is now commonplace did not exist or was not widely known.] As such, the film incorporates terms and images that are culturally appropriative and/or outdated. I have chosen to present this film, preserved in its original form, as a historical document of the times in which it was made. [If I were to make this film today, I would do it very differently. I hope no one will be offended viewing this uncensored, original version. Please, enjoy Linda/Les & Annie].
A circular and fantastic film that won the Queer Palm in Cannes in 2017. Here flesh submerges everything : whatever the bodies, they’re blown away by pansexual desire. I liked the fact that the sounds of sex played an important role in the film. I liked it when the wankers told each other words of love, and that love had a slit mouth, like a vagina opening.
A humble and raw film. Desire is incarnated by elderly bodies, filmed without false prudery by the camera. The realism of the images tells us: there’s nothing to hide, because what’s happening is beautiful! But a woman choosing to live her desires will always be reminded of her “selfishness”.
