For his first feature film, musician Flying Lotus signs an unidentifiable object, blending science-fiction, satire, and delirious video, somewhere between L’Oeil du Cyclone and a journey through the jungles of imagination. Apocalyptic, uninviting, of a seminal beauty, Kuso captures the visionary chaos of Southland Tales while summoning the likes of Lynch, Miike and Jodorowsky. An extreme organic trip imagined by a brilliant enfant terrible admired by Yann Gonzalez, Bertrand Mandico and Fréderic Temps who compares it to Videodrome.
