Oskar, a sensitive bullied twelve year old, meets Eli, his new withdrawn and mysterious neighbor. Convinced that fate has finally given him a friend, he sees their relationship grow, before having to confront the truth: she’s no ordinary girl.
When Let the Right One In was released in 2008, it rocked the world of fantasy films, heralding a wave of Scandinavian genre movies - until then not too frequent - that would rhyme terror with teenage angst. This revisiting of the vampire theme through the lens of teen movies results in both a superb horror movie and a gripping love story. A proof that contemporary obsessions provide the best way to dust off a myth all the while ensuring its immortality.

Let the Right One In , the real one, the magical one, not the US remake, failed and useless, Let the Right One In, the only movie I watched three times in a row the day it came out, moved to tears because it’s so beautiful. So if you like vampires and love stories, and even if you don’t, go catch an eyeful. That’s an order.
