For his first zombie movie, Canadian actor turned director Adam MacDonald returns to the genre’s roots by revisiting the concept of confinement famously depicted in the classic Dawn of the Dead. After the huge mall in George Romero’s film, a high school paradoxically becomes the ultimate sanctuary for a group of teenagers, and reminds us of another teenage movie classic, Breakfast Club.
